Gluten Free and Dairy Free Thanksgiving Menu

Recipes on recipes are open all over my phone. I have been having so much trouble keeping track of everything. I’ll make something that I absolutely love and then I can’t find it! Out of my own needs, I have been working on saving and linking all of my favorite recipes that I find to my blog.

The problem is, sometimes I alter a recipe that I find. I’m still learning how to develop my own recipes, especially when it comes to the science of baking, but I have learnt how to take recipes and alter them based on my own needs. I’ll start sharing those as well.
If you’re looking for a less traditional Thanksgiving meal that happens to also be gluten free, here are some recipes that I have made or been inspired by. Any recipes that call for butter I substitute with a non-dairy butter. My favorite is Miyokos. I have also used Earth Balance Organic. I have also used Cocoyo and CocoJune, Harmless Harvest and Violife to replace dairy.
I have mostly photos of deserts since that is something that I love making. I love the art of it. But I am trying to get better at photographing some on the food too.
Here is a compilation of recipes that I refer to. I made most of these for our fall freindsgiving meal over the weekend and we ended up with basically no leftovers.
Salads:
Sides:
Butternut Squash Casserole (I substitute Oat Milk)
Butternut Squash Muffins (I left out the almond flour and used apple sauce and no sugar)
Crispy Garlic Green Beans
Zucchini Fritters (I leave out the cheese)
Main Dish:
Crispy Sage Tofu (I use gluten free breadcrumbs or almond flour)
Turkey (I don't cook or eat meat/poultry but everyone seems to enjoy this when when my husband makes it.)
Desserts:
Wishing everyone a warm and cozy fall season.
Xoxo,
Shana Bryn
