Over the years, my preference in swimwear has fluctuated. My style can be impacted by how I am physically or emotionally feeling, the event, location, or people I am with. Every couple of years, I get a new swimsuit and have been collecting a variety of designs.
For a few years, I have been wanting a swimsuit with sleeves and a skirt. While I am comfortable with wearing a bikini and one piece, sometimes it is nice to have more sun protection or just generally be more covered. It only takes that one bad sunburn in the middle of vacation to encourage coverage!
This summer is when I finally found one that I love!!! It is designed by the fabulous Ester Rouimi. I actually bought two and can't wait to wear them. Unfortunately, the local lake has been closed to swimming recently, but once it reopens I will be a heading out to enjoy these beautiful pieces. The one pictured above is the malibu top with the miami peplum skirt. It is comfortable, stylish, and has so many special touches that make it practical too. Just to mention one, it has a little zipper pocket under the peplum, which is perfect for those days of collecting sea shells.
I came across a few other designers and shops too! I know that some of you will have different needs and tastes. So, I decided to share a few websites to provide a range of coverage. Majority offer full coverage or are one pieces. Many of these collection come with coverups or skirt wraps to add an extra layer.
