Stunning Photo Frames

Bows, copper, flowers, and gems on photo frames make my dining room credenza even more beautiful, sitting next to my Shabbos candles. Having them sit beside my Shabbos candle sticks filled with photos of people that I love, makes the light and warmth of shabbos even stronger. I wasn’t sure if I would want to display family photos in multiple various photo frames. I like the simplicity of an electric photo frame, but there is something so classic and beautiful about real printed photos.

I have a mix of antique and modern frames. Some I received as wedding gifts, and some I found hidden away in draws in my parent's home. One of the most subtle ways that someone could find out if I was pregnant was by looking at the double frame that I have from my mom. One photo was Laila's first birthday, and the second was of my 20 week ultrasound of Ian. I should probably update that and put in an actual photo of Ian.

Each week when Laila lights candles with me, we have been going through each photo. It was so heart warming as she learnt each person's names and who they are to her, even her great-grandparents that she never got a chance to meet. I have a couple of people missing, and seeing how she engages everyone's names, and tells stories about those she knows, I know I need to add in their photos.

That desire brought me onto a path of looking for more photo frames. I thought I would share some of my favorites. A few will probably forever be out of my price range, but they were just too pretty to ignore.

xoxo,

Shana Bryn
